a very short post to say that one of Jean's new york imports has decided to begin the new season by producing some berries...i am uncertain as to whether these are ever-bearing or if the plant will turn its attention to daughters later in the season...either way the upshot is the "tough little plants" have overwintered successfully and will be expanding their size, if not their range...there are others budding out there so we will see where the season leads berry-wise.
