bundled up

it's a blustery afternoon on the south end of the inland sea and the flowers are closed up...including the berry blossoms that have yet to be pollinated so there is little to see in terms of flower morphology...so what i did was mark out three that have already begun the transformation to berries so i can get a rational narrative established and then pick out some new blossoms to mark out on a sunnier day to begin an essay on a complete metamorphosis...as it stands the three i have pictured here all have tinges of red appearing...the change will accelerate as the weather warms over the next few weeks...anomalous ( well...perhaps the new "normal" ) and unseasonable warm temperatures in early spring gave them an early start...a cooling in may has stalled them a bit...they will move forward again soon enough.
