it has warmed a bit and the sun has emerged at the south end of the inland sea, and so have the berry blossoms...so i went out and chose a few to follow to berryhood...number four is actually a pair of closely situated flowers ( top photo ) number five is a solo ( second ) and number six is actually three ( third, fittingly ) we will keep an eye on these and see how they develop...meanwhile the already pollinated blooms are, for the most part, coming along...number one has a tinge of red ( fourth ) and number two is moving along very quickly ( fifth )...number three ( last photo and if any of you have suggestions for more creative names i am open to suggestion ) seems to have closed itself off during the last cool snap and has yet to reemerge...there will be watchful eyes over this...what is up? unknown...stay tuned...this is a long season.
