Jean's New York daughters

reason to celebrate, Jean...and anyone else that is interested...two of the new york imports have daughters that have taken root...the plant in the top photo is in the bed at the south side of the house and the daughter is very new...just rooting..the plant in the third photo is in the last bed on the east end of the yard and its daughter is well established and the first two leaves will be fully deployed soon..so the survivors are putting their energy into reproduction...this is fine...the last two photos are of a plant that has opted for its own growth as opposed to reproduction..it is a bit deeper into the east bed and there may be an issue with shade...lots of tomatoes and cucumbers hogging the light...they will be gone to another bed in spring and there will ( hopefully ) only be asparagus sharing the bed..that can go on the north side and hopefully there will be successful cohabitation.
