one of Jean's daughters is pinned
i had thought the stolon i am trying to root in the buried flowerpot might have wayward tendencies ( i have been down this road before ) and when i went to look in on it this evening i was not surprised to find it had migrated ( first photo )...so i found a twig that had fallen from a tree ( one advantage of so many trees in the yard is a wealth of cast-off plant material to put to many uses ) that had a "wye" in it ( second photo )...i cut the wye out with some shears ( third ) and "pegged" the stolon down to the flowerpot ( fourth )...gently...i want to hole it in place, not damage it...and i have a much better chance of getting the plant to cooperate...the last two photos are of some native berries...still producing.
